What if you had a tutor who never slept, never got tired of your questions, and understood Caribbean examinations better than anyone else? That's exactly why we created CoTails.
Developed by the E2C Ventures Faculty of Early to CXC, CoTails is the Caribbean's first AI study companion built specifically for students preparing for SEA, CSEC, CAPE, CCSLC, and CVQ/CTEC examinations. While the world is rushing to use generic artificial intelligence, tools designed for broad audiences, we took a different approach. We asked a simple question:
What would an AI look like if it were built entirely for Caribbean students?
That’s easy the answer is CoTails. Built in the Caribbean. Trained for the Caribbean.
Most AI tools know a little about everything. CoTails was designed to know a lot about the examinations that matter to Caribbean students. To build CoTails, the E2C Ventures Faculty drew upon years of educational experience, curriculum expertise, examination resources, study guides, syllabuses, past papers, marking schemes, and teaching materials used throughout the region. If there is one thing CoTails understands, it's Caribbean education.
If we say CoTails was trained with every resource ever written about and concerning Caribbean education was used, (that would be an exaggeration). But you get the point. CoTails is not trying to understand Caribbean education. It was built around it. Whether you're studying Photosynthesis for CSEC Biology, Integration for CAPE Mathematics, Comprehension for SEA, or Social Studies for CCSLC, Cotails was designed with those subjects, syllabuses, and examination standards in mind.
More Caribbean Than You
A student in Trinidad studies differently from a student in New York. A CAPE candidate preparing for Unit 2 Economics faces different challenges from someone studying for SATs or GCSEs. Yet many AI platforms treat every student exactly the same. CoTails doesn't. It understands Caribbean examination structures, regional terminology, marking approaches, and the subjects that students across the region encounter every year. It was built to support how Caribbean students learn, revise, and prepare for success.
So, when we say CoTails is "more Caribbean than you," we're saying something simply true: it has been immersed in Caribbean educational content from day one.
Your Personal Study Companion
CoTails isn't just another chatbot. It's a study partner.
- Ask it to explain a topic.
- Ask it to create a quiz.
- Ask it to generate a study plan.
- Ask it how to approach a difficult examination question.
- Ask it for revision help at 11:30 PM the night before an exam.
It never complains. It never judges. And it never tells you to wait until tomorrow. Every answer is focused on helping you understand, improve, and build confidence.
Why We Built CoTails?
At Early to CXC Academy, we've worked with thousands of students across the Caribbean. We've seen brilliant learners struggle because they couldn't get help when they needed it. We've seen students lose confidence simply because they were studying alone. We've seen parents searching for affordable academic support. And we've seen teachers carrying enormous responsibilities while trying to support every child in their classroom. The reality is that educational support shouldn't be limited by geography, schedules, or availability. Every student deserves access to guidance when they need it.
This is the mandate of CoTails. Not to replace teachers. Not to replace parents, aunties and older siblings helping with homework. Not to replace hard work and studying. But to ensure that no student ever has to say: “I wanted to study, but I had nobody to help”.
The Future of Caribbean Learning
We believe the Caribbean deserves educational technology built specifically for its people. Too long, students in the region have relied on platforms created elsewhere and adapted to fit our needs. CoTails changes that. It is a Caribbean solution for Caribbean learners, created by Caribbean citizens and Caribbean educators who understand the curriculum, the examinations, and the challenges Caribbean students face every day. And This is only where we have started. The future of learning in the Caribbean is intelligent, personalized, accessible, and would be available to every student with an internet connection.
The future has a name.
CoTails.
